Hope everyone is having a nice week. I know the farmers are pleased to finally get some rain for the crops. The soybeans are looking especially lovely after the weekend rain. A big thank you to everyone who helped look for our dog Marley. Marley decided to go for a stroll while we were gone for the day and gave us quite a scare. Thankfully, he is alive and well. It is so nice to have a community of caring people when life presents trying events.
Deepest condolences to the families of Norma Jean Sedberry and James Holloway in their recent passings. Both of these individuals were staples in our community and will be profoundly missed.
Thank you to Mary Lynn Lambert and Anita Lambert for the next news contributions. Jessica Trall and her three children from Toledo, Ohio, recently visited with her parents Alfred and Jonna Ewing .
Prayers of praise for Wanda King. She received a great report from her heart doctor last week at Vanderbilt in Nashville.
Silerton Baptist Church reported having a good Bible School. Attendance was good and the kids and workers enjoyed the day. They ended the day with a water slide and ice cream.
