Chester Co. Ponytails vanquish state competitors to advance to World Series in Prince George Co. , Virginia

This past weekend at Malesus Park in Jackson, the Chester County Ponytails wiped out all of their opponents in the state tournament to advance to the World Series on July 20-23 in Prince George County, Virginia. The smallest score margin in their games was 18, and they won the championship 22-0.
The Darlings competed in their respective state tournament as well but were not able to continue on.
The Belles competed in theirs at Pope Park in Jackson. The girls were able to get to the championship game, but fell short to Madison South 11-15.
The 11/12 Chester County Boys All Stars team also competed in their state tournament in Waynesboro.
The team lost the first game to Star Mountain 7-5 after a four-run rally in the last inning. Then, they were eliminated from the competition after Springfield beat them 3-2.
