Hello from Enville! I hope you all are having a great week. The temperatures are good this week. I think we may be having Dogwood winter soon. I hope everyone has a Happy Easter. I pray you all get to spend it with family and have little ones hunting eggs. Let’s remember what happened on Easter morning. Jesus arose from the grave and is alive today. There will be sunrise services at many churches; if you have never attended, it is an experience you can not explain. You feel a closeness to Jesus. Come join in at Sanford Hill Baptist Church in Henderson at 6:15 a.m. at the crosses outside.
The Enville Volunteer Fire Department will have their annual barbecue on May 10 beside City Hall. More details later.
Please pray for Robert and Linda Johnson, Harold Maness, Robert Smith, Mary Lee Guyon, Mary Lou Avent, Ann Pugh, Shirley Hampton, Della Mixon, Kaye and Bo Jack Killingsworth, Shirley Bishop, Nita Middleton, Dorothy Allen, Janice Massengill Strickland, Jeremy Crowell, Reece Collins, James Vinson, Jimmy Robertson, Jeff Finley, Tom Harwell, Glenn Butts, Mike Finley, Rick Ooley, Karl Starnes, Jack Hampton, all who have lost loved ones, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, healthcare workers, military, schools and school board, our county, our country and, as always, each other.
If you have news to share, call me at 608-3058, or if you want to rent the community center, call Pat Cates at 688-5125 or 315-8062. Have a blessed week everyone!
