The Chester County Lion’s Club announces the Dr. Ronald Johnson Student of the Month. Dr. Johnson recognized our community’s brightest students at the monthly Lions meetings during the school year. Lion Johnson and his wife, Caroline, raised their two children here. Lion Johnson served for many years on the CC School board and valued our students and was dedicated to the success of the local educational system.
Abby Sells, a junior at CCHS, has been selected as the Dr. Ronald Johnson Student of the Month.
Abby is an academic superstar. She is a member of the Beta Club and recently competed at the state convention in the category Small Group Performance, and her group placed third in the state. She is enrolled in Dual Enrollment classes through FHU and JSCC’s Medical Terminology. The guidance counselor at the high school wrote that “Abby is an all-around wonderful student and a ray of sunshine in our school!” Abby, her mom, and sister were dinner guests at the January meeting.
