After filling up on crawfish, guests enjoyed the delicious desserts that were brought. The event was enjoyed by family and friends.

Frankie and Mary Lynn Lambert and Mike Hatch traveled to Humboldt to see Brynlee Watkins, granddaughter, on her float in the Strawberry Festival parade. Because she placed Queen in the Miss Barbie Springfield pageant, she qualified to participate in the parade. She was in a carriage hand-pulled by her parents, Tracy and Becky Watkins. Becky decorated the carriage with red and white flowers. Tracy refurbished the wheels and rails with white paint. It was a great day for a parade. The sweetest moment was when Brynlee’s carriage passed by them waving and, of course, her beautiful smile.
