Excitement and energy filled Trinity Christian Academy’s stadium for the first week of high school football this year. The Eagles Football Team kept the energy going into the game and throughout the first quarter of play.
Within that time, the Eagles managed to score three touchdowns which filled Eagles fans in the stands with even more emotion of what seemed like would be a Chester County win at the time since the end of the quarter was 20-6 with Chester County ahead.
Touchdowns were scored on a pass to receiver Chad Barham, a run by Jaleo Smith and another reception for a touchdown by Barham. Colton Callis also scored two of three extra points.
Unfortunately, Chester County did not see their endzone anymore that night, while the TCA Lions continued to rack up points.
By the end of it all, Chester County could not stop the Lions and it resulted in a CCHS loss, 27-20.
This week they refocus for their next matchup against Milan for the first home game of the season. Milan lost to South Gibson last week, 27-22.
Additionally, the Chester County Junior Eagles will be performing prior to the game at 6:30 p.m. at Eagle Stadium.
