On Wednesday June 3, 2020 the Tennessee Sheriff’s Association (TSA) Elected Dickson County Sheriff Jeff Bledsoe as the new executive director.
The TSA released the following statement:
“It is with great honor and distinction that the TSA board announces the new Executive Director for the Tennessee Sheriffs Association. The new executive director went through a rigorous selection process. It came down to four candidates, all presented to the membership made up of sitting sheriffs.
The sheriffs voted and unanimously confirmed Sheriff Jeff Bledsoe as the new Executive Director.
We feel that Sheriff Bledsoe’s connections to Tennessee, the work he did as a sheriff for his county and for the association will allow him to serve the association greatly.”
Sheriff Bledsoe will take over all responsibilities of executive director in July. He will then need to be added as the primary contact for any task forces or committees due him as the executive director.
A message from Executive Director Bledsoe: “I am deeply honored to be chosen by the sheriffs of the great state of Tennessee. I plan to work hard for each and every sheriff and to represent them in a way that brings honor to the Office of Sheriff.”
