The library adds a storytime day
Pictured is Chester County Library Director, Chrystal Richerson hosting the Storytime Program and reading the chosen-themed book for the week to the audience. The theme for the Storytime Program was learning different languages/being bilingual. Friends of the Chester County Library, Alba Hardin, read the bilingual book, “El Perro con Sombrero” (by Derek Taylor Kent and illustrated Jed Henry) in Spanish to the attendees while Richerson translated in English. Afterward for crafts time, the children colored and created their own sombreros for each of them to wear on Wednesday, Oct. 9. The Chester County Library has changed its Storytime Programs to each Tuesday and Wednesday at 10 a.m., previously only held on Tuesdays.
