When thinking of him, polite, quite, even-tempered and comical are words that come to mind. He was outwardly easy going but a fiercely competitive youngster, especially when playing basketball. He also excelled at baseball and football. He enjoyed video games, fishing, cruising the backroads and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Roma (Deonta Hale) Croom of Henderson; siblings, Tanika (Cortez) Steele of Adamsville, Jalessa Walker of Selmer and Tyler Walker of Henderson; grandparents, Kenneth and Bonita Croom of Henderson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, James “Moose” Walker, and paternal grandparents, LeRoy and Willie Mae Walker.
