Cookies for Cancer Accepting Donations
Cookies for Cancer will be donating family food boxes on the first and third Fridays in June and July. Anyone wishing to donate can leave donations at Cash Saver. Anything would be appreciated.
10th Annual Bluegrass
Concert May 28

The 10th Annual Bluegrass Concert will be from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, May 28, at the Farmers Market Pavilion-Gene Record Park. Good Times Grass, 7 Mile Creek and The Corinth Courthouse Pickers will appear. Concessions will be available, and admission is free. American Legion Post 157 Memorial Day Ceremony May 30
American Legion Post 157 in Henderson will host a solemn commemorative ceremony on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, beginning at 11 a.m. in the Council Chambers on the second floor of Henderson City Hall in Henderson to honor all military veterans who willingly made the Supreme Sacrifice to safeguard the United States of America. The public is encouraged to attend the approximately one-hour ceremony.

Mark your calendars! Chester County High School Alumni Day returns June 4. Look for ad in the near future for registration and payment form.
CC Historical Society
Meeting June 6

The Chester County Historical Society will meet at the Senior Center at 7 p.m. June 6. Laquita Thomson will present “A  Federal Doctor and a Confederate Officer.” It is about a first chance meeting of the doctor and the officer in 1861 and their second meeting at Shiloh. The officer is from Bolivar. Come enjoy a great program and good friends. All are welcome.
CC Democratic Party
Meeting June 16

The Chester County Democratic Party meeting is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 16. The meeting will take place upstairs in the classroom at the Henderson City Hall, 121 Crook Ave, Henderson. Members will discuss the party’s agenda/events for 2022. All Democratic residents who are eligible voters of Chester County are urged to attend.
