Cookies for Cancer Accepting Donations
Cookies for Cancer will be donating family food boxes on the first and third Fridays in June and July. Anyone wishing to donate can leave donations at Cash Saver. Anything would be appreciated.
Family Map Making Night June 16
Join the Chester County Library for Family Map Making Night beginning at 5:30 pm. Thursday, June 16. Families will have the opportunity to create their own maps (as a family or individual family members). We will have examples of maps, materials for antiquing paper, paper, and other materials so that you can make the map of your dreams! Don’t miss out on this great event. Please register for the event. Due to limited space, this will help us prepare how to best have everyone seated at the program.

Meeting June 16

The Chester County Democratic Party meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 16. The meeting will take place upstairs in the classroom at the Henderson City Hall, 121 Crook Ave, Henderson. Members will discuss the party’s agenda/events for 2022. All Democratic residents who are eligible voters of Chester County are urged to attend. Juneteenth Celebration June 18
Come out to help celebrate Juneteenth on June 18 at the Old Vincent High School, now known as North Chester County Alternative School, located at 524 Luray Ave, Henderson. Set up time is 10 a.m. All activities will start at noon. There will be an opportunity for the community leaders to speak. It is a FREE event! FHU Soccer Camp June 19
The Freed-Hardeman University soccer program will host their annual soccer camps beginning the week of June 19. Camps are available for all ages with the boarding camp running from June 19-22 and the cub camp running in the morning of June 19-22. These camps will take place on the campus and utilize the two soccer fields. There are boarding and commuter rates available but space is limited so register today. Campers receive a camp ball, t-shirt, and evaluation as well as insurance for the week. Focus will be on skill development of each player and have scrimmages each evening. Cub camp is an abbreviated camp in the mornings for boys and girls aged 4-10. Boarding camps are for ages 11 and up and more intense. Lifeline Blood Drive June 20
Lifeline Blood Services will be holding a blood drive from 1-6 p.m. Monday, June 20, at Piggly Wiggly in Henderson
