Deanburg Haunted
Hollow Oct. 28-29

The Deanburg Haunted Hollow dates are Oct. 28-29. Admission is $10 each. Hours are 7 p.m.-midnight each night. Credit or debit cards are not accepted; cash or check with proper id only. No refunds. Children 36” or under free. Concessions and restrooms will be available. You can sit by the fire or stay inside and eat if you choose. Everyone is welcome. Proceeds go to upkeep of building and volunteer fire department.
Jacks Creek Fire Station
Stew Sale Oct. 29

Jacks Creeks Volunteer Fire Station will hold a stew sale Saturday, Oct. 29, at 10 a.m. until sold out. Location is Hwy. 100 E at Hwy. 22 A. $20 a gallon. Bring your own container. Stew will be ready by 10 a.m.
Pinson Ruritan Stew Oct. 29
The Pinson Ruritan Stew Sale will be Oct. 29. Stew will be ready after 7 a.m. and will go until 9 a.m. Call 731-988-5240 to reserve. There will also be a bake sale. Bring your own container if possible. If you have any trouble getting the 988 number, call Liz at 731-520-0251.
Glendale Community Center’s Halloween Party Oct. 29
The Glendale Community Center’s Halloween Party is at 6 p.m. Oct. 29. They will be serving chili, hot dogs, homemade desserts, etc. There will be a costume contests for all ages,  fish pond  and cake walk. This is the annual fundraiser for maintenance of the building.
Enville Community Club Veterans Program Nov. 1
The Enville Community Club will have a Veterans Program at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 1 at the Enville Community Center. We invite all veterans and the community to come out and join us in honoring our veterans. There will be a potluck meal and afterwards a short program with songs by Frank Bell and Kaye Springfield.

CC Historical Society Nov. 7
The Chester County Historical Society will meet at the Senior Center at 7 p.m. Nov. 7. Our speaker will be Steven Harrison, Editor of “Family Findings,” the Midwest-TN Genealogical Society quarterly. He will be discussing restoring old photographs. All are welcome, and members are expected.

Franko’s 29th Annual
Toy Run Nov. 13

Franko’s 29th Annual Chester County Toy Run will take place at noon Sunday, Nov. 13, starting at Walmart, South Hwy. 45, in Jackson and ending at Elks Lodge, 505 Steed St., in Henderson. Bring a donation and join! For more information, contact Frank at 731-989-8183 or 731-435-6163.

Cookies for Cancer Free Thanksgiving Meal Nov. 24
Cookies for Cancer will be passing out FREE Thanksgiving Meals again this year at Henderson Family Pharmacy in Henderson from 10 a.m.-noon or until they run out Nov. 24. Please RSVP this year so that they know how many meals to make. Cut off for ordering will be Nov. 21.
