Chester County Democratic Party Meeting July 23
The Chester County Democratic Party meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 23, at Henderson City Hall, 121 Crook Avenue in Henderson, on the second floor. All Democrats and concerned citizens are invited to attend. Guest speaker will be Ms. Civil Miller-Watkins Candidate for TN State Senate District 26. Technology Training Courses at the Library July 23, 30
Technology Training courses will be held at the library. Limited space available! Please call to register! Volunteers Needed

The Ladies from the Henderson Community are seeking children ages 17 and below to do posters, essays, poems and oratoricals to support Black History Month, Feb. 2021.  We are also pursuing businesses in Chester County to display the youth’s work during black history month. Barbeque Festival Vendor Applications
The Chester County Barbeque Festival Committee is now accepting vendor applications for Chester County residents and businesses.  The 43rd Annual Chester County Barbeque Festival is September 25-26. Please call the chamber of commerce at 731-989-5222 for vendor information.
CC Head Start Accepting Applications
Southwest Head Start is now taking application on three- and four-year old children for Chester County Head Start. There are no fees for services. Let us take your application by phone. Call Lisa Brantley at 731-614-1575 or Shana Taylor at 731-549-0028. Head Start offers research-based Creative Curriculum used by teachers to promote school readiness skills; three star rated classroom by the TN DHS licensing; a nutritious breakfast and lunch served; comprehensive services including: health, mental health, dental, nutrition, family services, and parenting skills offered using the Ready Rosie Parent Curriculum; and volunteer services that promotes parent and community engagement.
