Lifeline Blood Drive March 12
Lifeline Blood Services will host a blood drive from noon-6 p.m. Friday, March 12 at Henderson City Hall.

Bake Sale March 13

Cookies for Cancer will hold a bake sale from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. or until sold out March 13 at Cash Savers, 410 East Main Street, Henderson. We will still have Valentine’s Day! 9” pan of Chocolate or Peanut Butter Fudge – $10; 9” Pies and 13×9 Cakes – $10; Desserts and Cheesecakes – $15;13×9 Chocolate or Peanut Butter Fudge – $15; Large Homemade Breads (Banana, Blueberry, Chocolate, or Strawberry) – $10; Homemade Rolls, Pan of 12 – $10 or 24 – $20; add Homemade Honey Butter’s (Strawberry or Blueberry) – $5; Homemade Cinnamon Rolls, 9”- $12 or 13×9- $20; two dozen cookies -$8
CC Republican Meeting March 15
The next quarterly meeting of the Chester County Republican Party is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 15, at a NEW LOCATION – the Chester County High School cafeteria at 552 East Main Street in Henderson. After a (brief) business meeting, the Bi-Annual Election for the five elected positions on the Chester County GOP’s Executive Committee will be held. Nominations for these elected positions may be made by any bonafide Republican during the elections, except for the Chair. There are special requirements for candidates seeking to be Chair. Anyone with questions concerning the Election is asked to call Chad Cherry, Chair of the Chester County GOP, at 731-608-1523. After the elections there will be some preliminary discussion on the primary versus caucus question for 2022 elections. Chester Co. Retired Teachers Meeting March 17
Chester County Retired Teachers will meet at noon on Wednesday, March 17, at Snookum’s. The sponsor is West TN Bank. The service project is: crayons, markers, pencils, and glue sticks for K-third fine arts. Entertainment will be provided by Tyler Goodson.
FHU Associates Rummage Sale March 18-20
The FHU Chester Co. Associates will be holding their Spring Rummage Sale Thursday, March 18, through Saturday, March 20, at the National Guard Armory, 759 E. Main Street. The sale will include household items, clothing and accessories, furniture, tools, books, etc. Times are 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday; 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday (all items half price); and 7:30 a.m.-noon Saturday (fill a 13 gallon bag for $5 or a 30 gallon bag for $10).
