Danny Benard Retirement Celebration Jan. 13
Chester County Mayor commends and congratulates Solid Waste Director Danny Benard on his retirement. The Chester County Solid Waste Dept & West TN Regional Recycling Hub expresses its appreciation to Benard for his 19 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Chester County. Chester County Democratic Party Meeting Jan. 20
The Chester County Democratic Party meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, at Henderson City Hall on the second floor, 121 Crook Avenue in Henderson. Southwest Head Start
Pre-registration Jan.5-7

Southwest Head Start will hold pre-registration at the Chester Co. Library, 1012 E. Main St., on Jan. 5-7. Times are 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, noon-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, and 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7. Information needed at time of pre-registration is child’s official birth certificate, up-to-date immunization record, TennCare or insurance card and dates of birth for all family members, two emergency contact people, proof of household income for 2021 (income tax or W-2 forms, year to date pay stubs or Families First). Head Start is a free pre-school program for children of families that quality based on low income or federal poverty guidelines, childhood disabilities and various family circumstances.
