On Wednesday, February 10, officers with the Henderson Police Department, Chester County Sheriff’s Department and Jackson-Madison County Metro Narcotics Unit executed two search warrants at locations inside the City of Henderson.
One took place at 864C Woodland Drive and the other at 351 Steed Street. Both were part of an ongoing joint investigation by the three agencies.
According to the report, the two searches netted large amounts of illegal Marijuana, THC Products, mushrooms, paraphernalia and cash. Greater than one pound of marijuana, over 250 THC vapes and cartridges, over 40 pre rolled marijuana blunts, multiple jars of THC wax, over 50 packages of candy-style edibles, and over $50,000 cash. All of the listed items were seized plus other evidence and two vehicles.
Aariona Kelly, Jeremy Sutherland and Jeremy Brasfield were arrested for multiple charges including manufacture/deliver/sale/possession of schedule I drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Henderson Chief of Police Gary A. Davidson and Chester County Sheriff Blair Weaver issued the following joint statement:
“First, we would like to commend the hard work that our Officers/Deputies and Jackson-Madison Metro Narcotics unit has invested in this on-going investigation.“
“Their actions have removed many thousands of dollars of illegal drugs off our streets. We are very troubled by just how much of these items could have or have in the past ended up in the hands of teenagers and children, these types of illegal drugs can easily be targeted to those age groups. We also want to stress to parents, please do not think these things cannot reach your children, make yourselves aware that these types of illegal products are in our communities, be vigilant in checking to see if your teens or children have such items. Lastly, to those of you who continue to make a business out of putting these things in the hands of our citizens, we are working diligently to put you out of business!”
