BizGrowth Roadshow partners with Chamber to host free small business workshop

Signups are open for current and aspiring business owners to participate in a free small business workshop, called Marketing for Growth. theCO is partnering with Henderson/Chester County Chamber of Commerce to host the workshop from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8.

This event is part of the BizGrowth Roadshow that features 10 stops throughout west Tennessee.

Through theCO’s statewide program, Driving Innovation, each workshop will be hosted onboard their small business mobile innovation lab, theVenture. This event will be held at Henderson-Chester County Chamber located at 587 East Main Street in Henderson.

Attendees are encouraged to attend the Marketing for Growth workshop if they are currently a small business owner or considering starting their own business in the future. This will be an interactive workshop that highlights ways to improve online marketing. Participants will leave the workshop with a better understanding of their customer and with practical tools to reach their customers online.

TheCO’s Driving Innovation is a mobile program that supports economic and workforce development in Tennessee’s rural communities.

Funded by the Governor’s Rural Task Force, Driving Innovation works in 55 counties across the state. Driving Innovation has three mobile innovation labs focused on STEAM education, entrepreneurship and small business support, and community placemaking.

These mobile labs tour the state and equip rural areas to support small business owners, advance STEAM education, and enhance their community’s spaces.
