Chester Countians were grateful once they heard that Chester County had no active cases of the Coronavirus on Wednesday, May 6.
Nonetheless, all it took was a couple days and more cases presented themselves.
On Friday, May 8, Chester County was reported to have two more active cases which makes 12 total positive COVID-19 cases for the county.
Last Wednesday, salons and other close contact personal services were able to reopen while non-contact recreation businesses like bowling alleys, arcades, dance classes, water sports, mini-golf and more were able to reopen on Friday.
The argument over whether to reopen businesses in Tennessee continues as some believe, though the economy needs to start improving again, that it was too early to reopen businesses of Tennessee.
Currently, as of the afternoon of Tuesday, May 12, Chester still sits at 12 positive cases.
