With the Eaglettes holding a 90 percent win rate and undefeated in the district, the Chester County girls keep the fire burning on the courts and within their fans.
In the past news week, the Eaglettes have defeated their opponents by at least 12 points (McNairy, 51-39) and as much as 37 points (North Side, 55-18). Also in that span of time they defeated Lexington 51-22.
The challenge this week was when they faced off against South Side on South Side’s home court. On January 12, the Eaglettes came out on top by one point and looked toward getting another win against South Side. Read the newspaper next week for the details of the game.
The Eagles games have been much closer than the girls’ games, but they still manage to close them for a win.
On Friday, they barely escaped the grasps of North Side coming back from behind, but they did. The final score was 52-49.
That win was vital for the Eagles in the rankings as North Side and South Side prove to be their main competition for the first seed.
Earlier in the week they had a 66-59 win over Lexington and a 56-45 win over McNairy.
