Over fall break, the Chester County High School Girls Soccer Team competed in the district tournament.
After getting the first round bye from being first seed, the Lady Eagles played against North Side and easily defeated them 6-1 with scores by Hanna Cherry (2), Katie Lovelace (2), Brooke Thomas (1) and Alyssa Lyons (1).
Unfortunately, when they played against McNairy in the district championship with a critical, questionable red card call against CCHS, they were not able to produce any scores and lost 6-0.
They were still able to continue to region and played against Fairview on Tuesday. Read next week’s issue to find out the results from the region tournament.
District Awards are as follows: First team All District -Lovelace, Daisy McManus, Camryn Pickett, Lyons.
Second team all district -Kiersten Holley.
All tournament Team -Ella Boleyn, Pickett, Lyons.
Defensive MVP – Boleyn.
Coach of the Year – Jason Judd.
