CCJHS Girls Soccer goes undefeated in district

Last week, The girls junior high soccer team defeated McNairy 1-0 to complete district play with a perfect 5-0 record and winning the district championship for the sixth year in a row. CCJHS is the number one seed and will host the first round of the playoffs. Joycelyn Spivey scored the lone goal and the defense of Kendall Cherry, Hayliegh Hammons, Addie Cross, Evie Warren, and Emma Easley shut out McNairy.
On Monday, September 25, the Junior High Girls Soccer team defeated Milan 8-0. Joycelyn Spivey scored four goals, Miley Cupples added two, and Ally Morris and Mya Arelleno scored one each. The defense of Kendall Cherry, Hayleigh Hammons, Evie Warren, Emma Easley, and Addie Cross held Milan scoreless.
