Last Thursday, Chester County Junior High and Chester County High School had a Chester County Sheriff’s Office and Henderson Police Department presence due to a possible threat.
However, the sheriff’s office determined there was no threat made.
“The alleged threat stemmed from an incident involving two students at CCJHS. School administrators and the SRO developed a safety plan and began an investigation immediately. Upon investigation, it was determined that there was no threat made. The alleged threat was started and circulated on social media,” Chester Co. Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Mark Griffin said.
