Chester County High School Boys Cross Country wins Regionals fourth year in a row

The boys cross country team punched their ticket to the state meet winning the Region 7 A/AA race this past Tuesday. This is the fourth consecutive regional championship for the Eagles. They were led by Tucker Allen with a second place finish followed by Carter Welch in fourth, Garrett Robison in 14th, Cade Thompson in 27th, and Josh Roberts in 28th. Brooks Johnson and Ben Clayton will join those 5 at the state meet on November 5 at Sanders Ferry Park in Hendersonville.
“I cannot tell you how much this team means to me. They are some of the finest young men that I know. I have watched them grow together over the years, I have watched their friendship and bond strengthen over the years. It is my hope that they are aware of the talent that they possess. I cannot wait to see how they perform at state,” said head Coach Stephanie Hatch. “I cannot take credit for there achievements. All I can hope is that I have been a positive influence in their life. I am always impressed by their dedication to each other and to the sport.”
The Eaglettes’ season came to a conclusion Tuesday. They were not able to qualify for state but still performed very well. They were led by Julia Briggs in 23rd followed by Lilly Allen, Eden Burleson, Abby Sells and Makenna Jacobs.
