Eaglettes Softball defeats McNairy and Scotts Hill
By Kendall Patterson
The Chester County Eaglettes started picking up some momentum this past week over McNairy and Scotts Hill.
Last Thursday, the Eaglettes defeated McNairy in a district game and were victorious with a final score of 9-5.
On Monday, they shutout the Scotts Hill Lions at home 5-0.
The highlight from the game was when Lexi Harwell made a bunt, and Scotts Hill’s pitcher made an error on getting the ball to her first baseman as it went over their head. This resulted in Addison Newland (courtesy runner for Anna Crouse) and Lana Rowland scoring runs and Harwell herself getting to third.
CCJHS Eagles defeat Hardin County
On April 5, the Chester County Junior High Baseball team was able to defeat Hardin County 1-0 to add to the victory column.
