The Chester County Junior High School hit the courts for the first time this week in a season-opener against Lexington Monday Night. For the CCJHS Girls team, the girls easily earned a 28-10 win to start the season. Stella Pickens led her team on the scoreboard with 12 points for the night while also getting multiple steals in the game.
The CCJHS Boys game was a more even matchup. Chester County’s boys started slowly, but were able to catch up and tie the game at 20. Chyance Burton was able to gain the lead for his team twice, but it was not enough as Lexington ran away on the scoreboard to seal the win for the Tigers. CCJHS lost 37-28.
