The Chester County Eagles got knocked out of the District Tournament after the first round against McNairy Central.
The Eagles started off competing to win by responding well to the Bobcats shots. However, once both teams hit about 15 points, McNairy spread out a lead that they would keep the remainder of the game. They lost 66-4.3
Kiram McGee led in scoring with 11 points.
Head Coach Kody Howard is still proud of the team and how they played throughout the season.
He looks forward to years to come, because the team is young.
“There wasn’t a lot of bright sides if people from the outside want to look in and look at the record, but the good thing is we have everybody coming back,” Eagles Head Coach Kody Howard said.
It’s all about how hard they want to work,” he said.
“If they want to put in the work this off season in the summer, we’re going to be very dangerous next year.”
