Chester County Eagles win against Obion County Rebels

The Chester County Eagles secured a one-possession win over Obion County on Sept. 24 putting their record at 3-3.
The final score was 20-13.
In the first half, the Eagles were having a hard time stopping Obion’s running game.
However, during halftime, Chester County made the needed adjustments to shut Obion’s running back down in the second half.
Obion did not even score during the second half.
Speaking of Chester County’s defense stepping up, Chester County’s Brayden Wilbanks was able to get an interception on Friday night and get some good yards after the catch.
Defensive back Stepehen Green had the most tackles that game with `a total of 15.
Alex Lowe, Cooper Bates and Ryan Bailey all followed Green in tackles with each of them getting 11.
On the offensive side of the ball, Eagle quarterback Tony Washignton found Player of the Week, Chad Barham two times in the endzone for a touchdown.
Barham ended the night with a total of 94 reception yards with Tyricus Anderson getting 114 receiving yards for one touchdown.
Washington had a total of 262 passing yards with three touchdowns.
Ellis Patterson led rushing with 90 yards gained on 22 attempts.
This Friday, the Eagles return to regional matchups and will travel to South Side High School in search of another W.
