The Chester County Girls Soccer team made it to the State Championship tournament, but fell during the first round on Nov. 6 to Greeneville 11-2. The Eagles couldn’t hold Greeneville from scoring.
Nonetheless, the team was still grateful and glad that they were able to compete at State.
Before the game, Coach Jason Judd told the team to “Enjoy the Atmosphere. Enjoy the fact that we get to be here,” and the team did so.
Next year the soccer team will be losing their seniors Claire Maxon, America Angel and Alayna Felker who will all miss playing with their fellow teammates.
“I’m going to miss playing the game,” Felker said.
“It’s going to be weird not having it in the daily schedule next year and practicing with the team,” Maxon said.
It’s going to be something to miss, because we’re a team.
We’re a family,” Angel said. “We all get along so well.”
