Chester County High School Cross Country races at Milan Invitational

This past Thursday, September 8, the Chester County cross country teams were able to compete at the Milan Invitational. There were 258 runners between the girl’s and the boy’s races, which comprised 16 teams that were represented.
In the girl’s race, the top performers for them were Julia Briggs who placed fourth overall, Bella Lamb who placed 12th, Anna Bolton who placed Anna Bolton who placed 35th, Lilly Allen who placed 43rd, and, to round out the top five, Abby Sells, who placed 49th. The girls placed fourth out of 10 total teams.
On the boy’s side of things, the team was led by performances from Stewart Brown who placed first overall, Garrett Robison who placed third, Silas McManus who placed seventh, Dillion Williams who placed 19th and to round out the boy’s top five, Josh Roberts who placed 20th. These placements allowed the boy’s team to secure the number one spot as a team out of 13 schools that competed.
The team’s next race will be on Thursday, September 22, when they will travel to Covington and try to bring home even more hardware.
