Chester County High School Cross Country runs at Battle at Buckner Park

The CCHS boys’ cross country team and two members of the girls’ cross country team traveled to Dickson on Saturday, Oct. 17, to compete against top teams in the middle Tennessee area in the Battle at Buckner Park. Tucker Allen was CCHS’s top runner coming in at 13th out of 155 with a time of 16:51. Carter Welch was right behind him as 14th with a time of 16:54. Cade Thompson, Stewart Brown and Evans Bailey rounded out the top 5 runners for the team placing the team seventh out of 18. Tucker Webb, Josh Roberts, Owen Osburn and Fonta Burnett also raced on Saturday. Julia Briggs and Valerie Butterfield competed in the varsity girls’ race later that morning.
