On Monday evening, The Chester County high School Volleyball team defeated Hardin County in three sets to make their district record 4-4 this season so far.
Sets one and two stayed fairly close throughout their duration with the scores being 25-23 and 25-22, respectively.
In set three, Chester County put themselves in great position to win after taking a 19-10 lead. Hardin County was able to catch up and decrease the score margin, but Chester County sealed the “W” with a score of 25-23 after Hardin County hit the ball out.
If you ever have watched this group of girls play, you will notice the huge amount of excitement they have for one another during and after plays both on the court and on the bench.
“That’s one thing we even work on in practice. After every play, celebrate. Get excited. Do something. Even if you don’t get the point, go to the middle every single time,” Ellis said. “It’s all about growing a family… growing a team,”
