Chester County’s Dixie Ponytails, girls softball ages 11-12, fell a game short of advancing to the Dixie World Series when they lost 12-0 Monday in the championship game in Fairview against Summertown.
CC had a great run through the tournament, winning 15-1 over Houston County, and 7-4 over Madison South. Summertown got the best of CC in the winners’ bracket final 9-1. However, Chester rebounded with another win over Madison South Sunday, 8-2, to set up the final Monday.
