Chester County teams splits victories against McNairy and Scotts Hill

The Eagles played McNairy on Tuesday, Jan 5. and won 70-60 at the Bobcats’ court.
Then they competed against Scotts Hill on Friday Dec. 8 but were not able to come out with a win.
The Eagles stayed on the heels of the Scotts Hill Lions during the first half, which ended 33-28, but the Lions increased their lead some more during the third quarter. At the end of the third, it was 53-36.
The final score was 68-52.
The girls lost against McNairy but won against Scotts Hill.
After the 61-54 loss to the Bobcats, the Eaglettes had a 14-point win against the Lions.
The Eaglettes had the lead at the end of every quarter with them steadily putting the Lions in more of a deficit.
At the end of the first quarter they were up by four (17-13), at halftime they were up by five (31-26), at the end of the third they were in the lead by 13 (46-33) and won 60-46.
Chester Co. players who scored double digits in the Eagles vs Lions game were Quardarius Gains – 16 points, Kiram McGee – 12 points and Dalton Colbert – 11 points.
For the Eaglettes vs Lions game, it was Mia Hurst – 19 points, Ava Craddock – 16 points and Jariyah Williamson – 10 points.
