Chester County Volleyball ended at Regional Tournament: CCHS Volleyball named District Runners-up

After coming up short in the finals against Lexington (3-1) which placed them as District Runners-up Thursday October 7, the Chester County Volleyball team’s season came to a close in the first round of regionals when they played Dyer County on Monday October 11 and loss.
To get into the finals, they beat McNairy (3-2) on October 5, with some stellar stats. Kara Pipkin had 46 assists. Also, Pipkin, Grace Compton, Blakely Wilson, Brooklyn Butler, Jena Melton and Lexi Harwell all had double digit dig stats.
From the district tournament, Pipkin, Emma Compton and Grace Compton won All District Team and Pipkin and Emma won All District Tournament team.
“It’s always hard when a season comes to a close. We’ve had our share of ups and downs, but overall, I feel like we’ve had a successful season Humphry said. “I’m very proud of my girls and the work that they put in this year.”
