The dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony of the new Youth and Children’s Center was held Sunday, April 16 at Christ Community Church, 638 White Ave. in Henderson.
New and exciting spaces have been created for youth and children, including “The Barn,” “God’s Gym,” “The Lodge,” “Rack, Shack & Bennie’s Firehouse” and much more.
“The great privilege and responsibility of each generation is to influence and shape the lives of its children in such a way that their futures are bright with possibility and wholeness,” said a representative from the church. “As we seek to provide a greater future for our children, we are reminded of Jesus words, ‘I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly,’ (Jn. 10:10).
