The City of Henderson Board of Mayor and Aldermen are scheduled to meet in regular session at 7 p.m. today, Thursday, May 9, 2024, in the council chamber of Henderson City Hall.
The following items are on the agenda for consideration of approval:
- Matching retirement rate for the 2024-2025 Budget year
- Passage of the 2024-2025 City Budget and tax rate ordinance on the first reading
- Audit contract for year ending June 30, 2024 with ATA
- Changes to the per call stipend paid to volunteer firemen to respond to fire calls and training sessions
- Quote on lighting improvements at the City Maintenance Shop
- Increase of sanitation rates by approximately 5.71%, resulting in a $1 increase per month for residential customers.
Other business to be discussed includes consideration of a request for approval of an addition to Stoll’s woodcrafters building in Magic Valley per deed requirements and consideration of a quote to re-paint the stripes on North and South Church Ave.
