City of Henderson to select new Fire Chief

During the City of Henderson Mayor and Board of Aldermen’s November meeting this evening at 7 p.m., they will discuss and consider the selection of a new fire chief.
The board will also:
Consider passage on the final reading an ordinance to amend City Zoning to permit electric vehicle charging stations within the B-1 (General Business), B-4 (Highway Business) and I (Institutional) Districts as permitted uses.
Consider passage on the final reading an ordinance to amend water, sewer and natural gas tap fees and new service fees.
Review bids received on the Hwy 45 North Water Line Project which is partially funded by a DRA Grant. Approve the low bid and adopt a resolution approving the project and the local matching funds for the DRA Grant.
Consider purchase of water main material for two short extensions that will be installed by city forces.
In other business it will be announced that the Employee Christmas Lunch on is December 8.
