City of Henderson utility department to give report on recent mail delivery delay and impact on bill delivery

When the Henderson mayor and board of aldermen meet for their February meeting at 7 p.m February 10, the Henderson Utility Department will give a report on the recent mail delivery delays and how it has affected utility bill delivery. The report will include steps taken by the utility department to address this issue.
The first item on the agenda is to hold a public hearing to discuss the fiscal year 2022 Community Development Block Grant application process. During the hearing, community needs will be identified and how CDBG funds can be used to address them.
Next, they will discuss the CDBG Child Care Creation Grant Program funded by a grant through the Southwest TN Development District. Child Care Center director(s)/owners are encouraged to attend.
Additional items on the agenda that are up for consideration are:
Discuss and consider reinstating COVID Leave for City Employees.
Discuss and consider a recommended change in the Police Department rank structure.
Discuss and consider accepting bids on mowing of the City Cemeteries.
Consider purchasing two composite samplers for the East and South Lagoons at a cost of approximately $7,000 each.
