City to appoint Vice-Mayor

On Thursday, Sept. 10, the Henderson Mayor and Board of Aldermen will start their September meeting by appointing the Vice-Mayor. The position was previously held by Johny Farris.
Other items on the board’s agenda include: considering action on a Regional Rezoning request to rezone Tax Parcel 60.01, Chester County Tax Map 55 located on the east side of US 45 South from FAR (Forestry Agriculture Residential) to B (Business), to discuss the cost of employee health insurance and approve the city’s portion of the premium, to consider the purchase of a pipe locator for the utility department and to discuss the properties located at 419 and 423 Harmon Street that are now owned by the city and county due to a tax sale.
