Paid for by the candidate

I am Clay Rodgers, and I am a candidate for your Chester County Board of Education representing district 2. As a 2001 Chester County High School graduate, this is my home. I am married to Katie and have five children: Clayton (14), Paul (12), Mary (8), William (5) and Lilly (3). My children are or will be enrolled in the Chester County school system, so I have a vested interest not only for their sakes but also for the future of each child in our county. As a student here, there were many wonderful teachers who shaped me into the man I have become and who made a lasting impression on me. I have always wanted to pay their impact on me forward and to make a difference for my hometown. I believe the impact I can make starts with being involved in our school system.
In my professional career with Jones Contractors, I have been blessed to work in many parts of the country. I believe that forming relationships with people and truly listening to the issues are the keys to making the best decisions for the situations at hand. As a school board representative, I would employ the same approach. My number one priority would be to make sure students receive the top education available and that teachers have the resources to make that happen.
Humbly, I ask for your vote for the Chester County School Board on August 4. Thank you for your consideration.
