Community Bank announces Emily Johnson as VP Chief Experience Officer

Community Bank is proud to announce Emily Johnson as Vice President | Chief Experience Officer. Johnson has been serving as City-President of our Henderson Branch since joining Community Bank in December of 2021. Her new responsibilities will include brand development, marketing, and customer/employee experience. Emily’s office will be located at our Henderson branch.
President/CEO Phillip Renfroe said, “Emily was Plan A for us from the very beginning when we decided to enter the Henderson market. She absorbed our day-to-day processes easily and quickly impressed with an eye for how customers should experience our branches, our website, and our marketing efforts. This new role makes us so much better and readies us for the expansion in our strategic plan.”
Emily is a Nashville native, and she is a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University. Before joining the Community Bank team, she worked in economic and community development. She is a Certified Tennessee Economic Developer, a graduate of the Southeastern School of Consumer Lending, a graduate of TVA’s Rural Leadership and Workforce Institutes, and a graduate of the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce Executives Institute. She is a Class of 2011 WestStar graduate, and in 2018, she received the Jackson Area Business and Professional Women Sterling Award.
Community Bank has served West Tennessee since 1961 and has offices in Lexington, Jackson, and Henderson.  As of April 19, 2023, the company’s total assets were $283.5 million; loans $242.6 million; deposits $257 million; and capital $22.8 million.
