Coronavirus Update in Chester County: Active cases continue to fall

Active COVID-19 cases continue to fall in Chester County, down to 22 this week, from 39. A total of 2,004 have tested positive for the coronavirus locally, and 46 have lost lives as a result. As of the beginning of the week, 1,936 have recovered locally.
A total number of 766,089 have tested positive across the state of Tennessee since the beginning of the pandemic. Of those, 738,731 have recovered, and 11,153 have died.
As of Monday, Feb. 22, a total of 2,795 have received COVID-19 vaccinations in Chester County, an increase of nearly 100 vaccines in the past week.
