The total number of COVID-19 cases took a major jump since last week from 1,117 to 1,127. The total number of active cases as of Tuesday Dec. 15 is 121. The death toll remains at 25.
With case numbers also increasing among school-age children, Chester County Schools and offices will be closed Friday. As of Tuesday, Dec. 15, the active school-age children cases rose to 22 with the overall total being 168.
