COVID-19 count nears 600 locally; up 63 from last week in Chester County

As of Tuesday afternoon, September 21, the total number of Chester County Covid-19 cases reported with the Tennessee Department of Health has climbed to 595 with 102 of them being active. There has been nine coronavirus deaths in the county.
On Monday, Freed-Hardeman University reported having 29 active student cases and 2 active staff/ faculty cases. As of the date, 31 students were being isolated and 155 students were being quarantined.
