COVID-19 Update in Chester County

Active cases in Chester County, according to data Tuesday, Jan 19. compared to Monday Jan. 11, seem to be dropping. On Jan. 11 the active case total was 215 and on Jan. 19 it was 147.
There has been one more COVID-19 related death since last week making the total deaths in the county 37.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 1,748 cases in Chester Co. The data shows that 1,564 cases have either become inactive or the individuals who tested positive have recovered.
Furthermore, as of Monday Jan. 18, the total number of active cases among school-age children in Chester Co. is 26. There have been 244 school-age COVID-19 cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
