Covid cases appear in local Chester County Schools

Chester County Schools reported a COVID-19-positive student this week. As a result, Chester County Junior High Basketball was cancelled for this week due to the team’s quarantining. As of Monday Nov. 9, the active case count of school-age children within Chester County is nine with the total case count to date being 102.
As of Nov. 10, Chester County as a whole currently has 72 active cases, 818 total cases, 18 deaths and 728 inactive/ recovered cases.
Statewide, there have been 289,749 total cases with 3,672 of them resulting in deaths. There are 256,143 inactive/ recovered cases in Tennessee.
