Covid cases near 300 in Chester County

Chester County’s coronavirus case count as Tuesday, Aug. 18 according to the Tennessee Department of Health is 290 cases. At that time, the amount of active cases was 170 with recovered cases remaining at 118 for the second week. The county remains with only two deaths related to Covid-19. The department of health reports 2394 negative tests for Chester Co.
As of Monday, August 17, a total of 29 school age children have tested positive for Covid-19, since the pandemic began. Of those, nine are currently active cases.
