Double-doubles lead Freed-Hardeman Lady Lions to win

In their final non-conference matchup of the season, the Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions topped the Bulldogs of Fisk (Tenn.) University 3-1 (25-18, 21-25, 25-14, 25-15) on Monday night.
The Lady Lions (13-13) were led by double-double performances from Masey Kate Adams, Alanys Ruíz Rivera, and Avery Young. Adams set up FHU with 25 assists and 13 digs. Both attackers ended the night with 12 kills, with Ruíz Rivera grabbing 20 digs, while Young pulled up 16. Charley Fulton led the back row with 25 digs, while Autumn Howard had 10 digs. Morgan Wilson was the other half of FHU’s 6-2 rotation with 14 assists.
FHU was deadly from the service line, having 11 service aces to the Fisk (19-13) Bulldogs’ 5.
Up Next – The Lady Lions will wrap up the regular season with a Kentucky trip, first visiting Columbia for a meeting with the Blue Raiders of Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) College on Friday, November 3, at 6 p.m., then facing the Campbellsville (Ky.) University Tigers on Saturday, November 4 at 11 a.m.
