After a second win over South Side last Tuesday, 42-29, The Chester County Eaglettes hold great position to enter the post season as the first seed in the district.
During the game, what helped the Eaglettes a lot is Brooke Ketchum controlling the paint with multiple blocks under the net.
Behind them are the McNairy Bobcats who gave the Eaglettes their first district loss on Friday, 42-50.
The Eaglettes already defeated the Bobcats at home 51-39 in January, so all they would have to do is to have won the game against Hardin on Tuesday and win against Lexington on Friday which is very possible.
On Saturday, the Chester County girls recovered from the loss the day before with a good win over Hardin County 58-26.
The Chester County Eagles lost the first place rank in the district after the loss to South Side last Tuesday, 40-60.
Now they hold second place with South Side ahead of them at 6-1 and Hardin right behind them at 4-3.
The next two games against McNairy and Hardin were one point games that were split for the Eagles. They won over McNairy, 51-50, and lost to Hardin, 58-57.
