Here at East Chester we were excited for our 500 plus students to arrive! We all worked hard these last few weeks to get everything ready. Last week, each grade level had a Meet the Teacher. The students were able to come into the building before school began to meet their teacher, see their classroom and take their picture with their teacher. We, the teachers, enjoyed seeing all those smiling faces that are so ready to be back in school!
We do have some new procedures for the upcoming school year. Students and faculty are not required to wear masks.
We are encouraging good hygiene practices and staying home if not feeling well. Let us all stay well this school year! A BIG change has been made to the car rider pick up routine. Each grade will be picked up at a different location. Third grade will be picked up at the awning between the school and the old Discovery building; second grade will be picked up from the gym; first grade will be picked up by the cafeteria; and kindergarten will be picked up from the front doors or the doors beside Beverly Bailey’s room. Just look for the new flags to help you find your car rider’s place. Siblings will be picked up from the oldest sibling’s place.
As we embark on a new school year, let us all do what we can to make it the best school year yet! Each year is filled with new adventures, new friendships and so much new learning!
Here we go school year 2021-22! East Chester is ready for you!
